“Dreaming is possible, no?” – Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo respond when asked what Manchester United will compete for in next two years

Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo believe that winning the Premier League is an attainable goal for Manchester United in two years’ time despite their unsteady form.
United came from behind to defeat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Sunday and currently sit ninth in the Premier League table. Since Ruben Amorim took charge, the Red Devils are yet to win their first trophy.

They reached the Europa League final last season but lost 1-0 to domestic rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Adding to the intrigue, they finished 15th in the standings, their worst-ever finish in a Premier League campaign.
Ahead of their league clash with West Ham on Thursday, December 4, Amad and Mbeumo sat down for an exclusive chat with Sky Sports. When asked about the level at which United will be competing in two years’ time, Amad said:
“Honestly, why not winning the league? Dreaming is possible, no?”
Mbeumo echoed the sentiments, adding:
“If you come to Manchester United, you want to win titles and the Premier League is one of them, so why not?”
“It’s too early to say something” – Amad Diallo on if Manchester United can win silverware this season
In the same interview, Amad Diallo responded to Manchester United’s ambitions for the current season. The young winger gave a cautious response, saying the season is still in its early stages and it would be premature to make predictions about winning trophies.
When asked what the ambitions for this season should be and what might realistically be achieved, Amad responded:
“It’s too early to say something. I don’t know, but right now it’s too early to say something positive. But what I can say is we are trying to improve as a team. And from each player, we demand a lot because we play for Manchester United and it’s a big club. So, we have to try to do better ever game. And what I can say now is we are doing it step by step. And I hope at the end of the season we can be much better than the beginning of the season.”
Amad has been a key player for United this season, having started every Premier League game he is eligible to, barring one. He has four goal contributions in 13 appearances across competitions.
