Ind Vs SA: Hitman Rohit Sharma Becomes 4th Indian Cricketer To Cross 20,000 Runs; Joins Kohli, Tendulkar

Rohit Sharma came guns blazing for the third and the final ODI against South Africa, which won the previous match in Raipur, despite India’s massive 358/8 on the back of centurions Virat Kohli (102) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (105).
In the crucial third ODI at the ACA-VDCA stadium in Visakhapatnam, South Africa were wrapped up for 270, with 3 more overs to go. India at the time of press is in vigorous form, with Yashasvi Jaiswal inching closer to a century (75) and Kohli warming up, while Rohit Sharma was sent packing after a fiery 75 off 73 balls that included seven 4s and three 6s. India’s hitman also crossed the elusive 20,000 runs mark in international cricket, becoming only the 4th Indian ever to do so.
The 38 year old took 538 innings to reach the milestones. Rohit Sharma joins the club with Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Rahul Dravid. He also achieved this feat relatively faster. In the first match against South Africa, Rohit set another world record of hitting the most sixes, breaking Shahid Afridi’s record.
