The competition is ramping up on Strictly Come Dancing as the remaining contestants edge their way closer to the Glitterball.
Sadly, one star who has missed their chance of winning the show is Vicky Pattison, who was eliminated from the BBC show just before Blackpool Week.
Although many fans were left reeling at her exit, it looks as though the star has been busy since leaving the competition, as she made an exciting announcement this week.
Taking to Instagram, Vicky informed her followers that she’s joining the presenting team for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4.
In the post, she commented: “A pinch me moment…This year, I will be joining the legendary presenting team for @su2cuk alongside TV icons @davinamccall and @adamhillscomedy for the @channel4 live show.

“I’m so proud to be part of Stand Up To Cancer, live on Channel 4 on December 12. I’ve supported cancer-related causes for many years, taking part in major fundraising treks and awareness campaigns for breast cancer.
“It means a great deal to continue championing such important work. This role is both an honour and a privilege, and one that I am adamant I will do justice.”
Vicky told her followers that the programme will focus on the importance of being diagnosed early, which is key to better outcomes.
The 38-year-old then encouraged people to use the screening checker to see what screenings they are eligible for.
She added: “So tune in on December 12 to @channel4 to see myself, @davinamccall, @adamhillscomedy and a whole heap of famous faces providing you with a top-notch evening of entertainment and fundraising for an incredibly worthy cause.”

Over the past few weeks, people watched Vicky’s confidence grow on the dancefloor, with many saddened that her journey came to an end in week eight.
Reflecting on her time on Strictly Come Dancing, she commented: “Listen, I didn’t think I’d get past week one. I’m really honoured to have shared this experience with so many amazing people. Mostly with this fella right here.”
She told Kai, “You’ve been the best partner a girl can ask for. I’m so sorry I didn’t get you to Blackpool, but I feel like I’ve won just by having you as my partner, and I’m so grateful.”
Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
