Emmerdale fans think they’ve worked out what will happen to Celia as one villager gets their redemption.
Actress Jaye Griffiths may have only made her Emmerdale debut this June, but her role as Celia Daniels is sure to leave a lasting mark on the village.
As the most recent villain to grace the Dales, Celia is involved in a horrific world of modern slavery that sees her exploit vulnerable people for her own financial gain.
One person caught up in all of this is Bear Wolf, and he was last seen digging a grave for his fellow worker Anya who died from an infection.
It was only recently that viewers learned newcomer Ray was Celia’s adoptive son, being forced into that line of work since he was a child.
Teenagers April and Dylan are also involved as Ray has been getting them to sell drugs, putting them in compromising and dangerous situations.

This involved Ray and Celia making April believe that she had killed Callum after she was sent to sleep with him and he attempted to force himself upon her.
With April set to tell her parents everything, Jaye teased: “What that means is she will have to explain to them in no uncertain terms what their new reality is.
“April would have brought this on her own family, it’s April’s doing. Celia warned her what would happen and now it will happen. Celia doesn’t do threats, empty or otherwise.
“She just states realities and consequences, and the consequence of this is now I own your family. They should be very scared.”
However, some viewers think Celia’s demise could happen soon, as part of Ray’s redemption arc. We know that Ray’s relationship with Laurel Thomas is blossoming, so will he do what he can to protect her from the truth?
On a Reddit thread, as a viewer asked if Celia’s time was coming to an end, u/cold-society3325 wrote: “Maybe it will be Ray. That’s his semi-redemption.” as u/feisty_jellyfish5225 replied: “I had actually the same idea a while back, but I‘m not sure about the redemption.
“He‘s probably gonna try to take her down and either be killed or arrested in the process. Anyway it feels like we are nearing the endgame…”
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
