I’m A Celebrity star did ‘one thing’ his family told him not to in jungle

Their relative has opened up about watching them during this year’s ITV series

A relative of one of the I’m A Celebrity stars has revealed they did the ‘one thing’ the family told them not to do while in the jungle.

The sister of Angry Ginge, a social media sensation from Manchester and current favourite for the I’m A Celebrity crown, made a heartfelt admission about her brother’s journey on the ITV show.

Morgan Burtwistle, as he is known off-screen, is the favourite to become King of the Jungle in tonight’s finale. Now, sibling Tasha has revealed just how much this experience means to him.

“I knew it was on his bucket list,” Tasha confessed. “Something he never thought he’d actually get to do, so I was just really happy for him.”

Tasha got a sneak peek of camp life earlier this week when relatives surprised the contestants. She couldn’t help but express her pride in her brother’s accomplishments, admitting she’s overjoyed with how far he’s come in his career, saying he’s “smashing it”.

Watching her brother on TV has been “amazing and honestly hilarious,” according to Tasha, who said, “he’s surprised me with all the things he’s done in there”. She gushed: “I couldn’t be any prouder of him.”

As for the prospect of winning the show, Tasha knows just how much it would mean to the star. “He’s gone in as ‘the streamer’ and look at him now!” she exclaimed, noting that her brother wouldn’t have anticipated such success.

Tasha also weighed in on the infamous sweet-gate incident. Ginge, along with Aitch and Kelly Brook, had won 20 sweets for the camp. However, they cheekily decided to keep half for themselves, scoffing them before returning to base, reports the Mirror.

Tasha confessed it was just her brother’s mischievous streak showing. She said: “It was literally the one thing we told him not to do though! But I guess that’s what makes it even funnier.”

After Kelly was booted off the show, she attempted to stir the pot in camp, revealing the trio’s cheeky antics to the other celebs. Vogue Williams’ reaction was to declare there were “snakes in the camp”.

Aitch admitted during his exit chat on Saturday that he could have caused more disruption if he’d wanted to. However, he quipped that the three celebs had a perfect excuse due to their role in securing Jack Osbourne’s letter from home.

Aitch was among the favourites tipped by bookies to win the entire show. His unexpected departure has paved the way for Ginge, according to betting experts.

Some fans online are speculating that his exit was premeditated too. One irate viewer, echoing the sentiments of many, posted on Twitter/X moments after Ant and Dec announced the result: “I AM SHOOK.”

Another chimed in with: “”The gasp I let out, like there’s just no way. “Several fans proposed a theory explaining why the 25-year-old rapper ended up in fourth place. They suggested: “I think people thought Aitch would be safe so didn’t vote for him.”

“Everyone must have just thought he was safe without voting,” wrote one user. Another added: “Surely the only reason Aitch is out is because everyone used their vote for someone else expecting him to be safe. “

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here concludes tonight at 9pm on ITV1, ITVX and STV Player.
