LeBron James moves into second place on NBA all-time wins list

Whether James eventually surpasses Abdul-Jabbar for all-time wins likely depends on whether he opts to return for a 24th NBA season in 2026.

Even if he does not reach the top spot, the four-time Olympic medallist’s position in second place sits alongside an already historic résumé: he is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, the only player with more than 40,000 career regular season points, more than 50,000 points including post-season games, and the first to accumulate at least 10,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists.
