Tomorrowland’s Symphony of Unity Releases Orchestral Rework of Faithless Classic ‘Insomnia’ for 30th Anniversary

Tomorrowland’s Symphony Of Unity orchestra has unveiled their orchestral rework of the iconic Faithless track “Insomnia,” a move that marks a significant celebration for both the track and the orchestra. This new rendition has been a staple in the 50-piece orchestra’s performances over the past decade and is officially released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the beloved original.

The Symphony of Unity, known for its vibrant performances, is set to release their debut album later this year. Recently, they garnered attention by performing on Tomorrowland’s Freedom stage, where they played twice each Saturday in July. Their first solo concert took place just last month at the Antwerp Expo, further showcasing their growing presence in the music scene.

In conjunction with this new release, Faithless also celebrated three decades of “Insomnia” with a digital EP and a limited edition picture disc, highlighting the enduring legacy of the track. Additionally, last month saw Disclosure debut their own remix of “Insomnia,” a version they had initially crafted for their live performances, which premiered during their 2025 set at the prestigious Glastonbury festival.

Following the passing of iconic frontman Maxi Jazz in 2022, the remaining members of Faithless, including producers Sister Bliss and Rollo, have continued to keep the band’s spirit alive. They have been touring with their eighth studio album, “Champion Sound,” which dropped earlier this year. Fans can look forward to seeing the duo perform at two major outdoor shows scheduled for the summer of 2026. The orchestral reimagining of “Insomnia” and these recent activities illustrate a thriving musical legacy that continues to resonate with audiences around the world.
