Son Heung-min has returned to Spurs and what an ovation for a true legend of the club. He did not get the chance to say a proper farewell when he left for Los Angeles FC in the summer, so it is fitting he can do it now.

“I hope you guys don’t forget me”, is his opening line.

Not much chance of that after 173 goals in 454 games, signing off after finishing as captain when Spurs won the Europa League against Manchester United in Bilbao.

Unless I’m mistaken, he’s just invited the Spurs fans to Los Angeles. Hope he’s got a big house.

Wonderful player for this football club.
