Pete Davidson doesn’t care what people say about minivans — he loves them.
In fact, he loves minivans so much that he teamed up with eBay to create the ultimate vehicle fully loaded with everything he and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt will need when they’re on-the-go after their baby arrives.
“I personally love minivans,” Davidson told PEOPLE exclusively on the set of his eBay shoot. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them or the stigma that comes with one, I had one before I was having a baby.”

The Saturday Night Live alum, 32, and Hewitt, 29, announced they were expecting their first child in July through a series of photos shared to Instagram. In November, they celebrated the upcoming arrival with a baby shower in New York City.
Ahead of the little one’s delivery, Davidson collaborated with builder Tony Angelo as part of eBay’s new “Built to Spec” series to create the ultimate “dad van” complete with a VHS player, mini fridge and bottle warmer.
“I’m taking it everywhere. I’m not just going to use it to be a dad, this thing is sick,” Davidson says looking over at his decked-out Honda Odyssey. “I already hate my current car. Look at it, it’s so cool.”

The partnership was an obvious one for Davidson who says he uses “eBay all the time.”
“The amount of VHS, weird Burger King watches from the ’90s that I’ve ordered, and VHS TVs,” he says.
And not only will Davidson get his own set of wheels, the eBay team created a second vehicle, inspired by the comedian’s, that is being auctioned off to raise money for Answer the Call — a nonprofit that helps families of fallen New York City first responders.
The organization is close to Davidson’s heart as it helped his family after his father Scott, a firefighter, died at the World Trade Center on 9/11. eBay has committed to matching up to $50,000 of the winning bid.
The auction is open now until Dec. 19 at ebay.com/petedavidson.
