Ball by Ball Commentary & Live Score – NZ vs WI, 2nd Test

1pm: It started off brightly for the West Indies, who seemed to be carrying the confidence and form from the first game and the surface was not too unfriendly. The openers were rock solid, played their shots freely and kept the scoring rate high. They nearly reached 100 runs for the loss of just two wickets so it’s a solid effort given they were dealing with the new ball on a fresh pitch. John Campbell has been brilliant, striking six fours and looking terrific with his pulls, drives and cuts. Brandon King got a start but was trapped LBW on umpire’s call, with the ball just clipping the stumps — a bit unlucky for him. Kavem Hodge departed without troubling the scorers, and the man in form, Shai Hope, is just starting to warm up to the task. Should be an equally good, if not better, second session ahead. Stay tuned!
