Moment cops confront Luigi Mangione at McDonald’s revealed in bodycam footage

Heart-pounding footage released Tuesday shows the moment a Pennsylvania cop asks accused CEO assassin Luigi Mangione to pull down his face mask at a McDonald’s, revealing him as the wanted suspect.
The stunning bodycam video captures the Altoona cop approaching Mangione at the fast-food joint and requesting the 27-year-old accused murderer to reveal his full face.
Mangione quickly complies but then lies about his name, claiming it is Mark Rosario, according to the footage, which was released as part of a Manhattan proceeding in the sensational case.
“Someone called, they thought you were suspicious,” the cop tells Mangione — who replies, “Oh, I’m sorry.”
The video’s release comes on the fifth day of a pretrial hearing to determine if evidence collected by Altoona police can be shown at trial and also on the one-year anniversary of Mangione’s arrest.
Mangione is accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a Manhattan street, sparking a furious manhunt for him last year.
Mangione has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
