GTA Online Safehouse in the Hills update release time, date and new content

The new Grand Theft Auto Online update is almost here, as players are given the chance to showcase their wealth.

There’s a new Grand Theft Auto Online update launching in time for Christmas, although this particular content drop is more about treating yourself rather than others.
Titled A Safehouse in the Hills, the new GTA Online update lets players purchase a luxurious mansion, complete with swimming pools, kennels and hot tubs.
Needless to say, players can also expect a selection of new missions, vehicles and items, not to mention a new tool that allows you to create your own missions.

GTA Online Safehouse in the Hills release date and launch time
The final major content drop of 2025, GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills has a December 10 release date on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
The content will be available from 10am GMT UK time. That’s 5am EDT / 2am PDT for fans living in the US, and 11am CET for European players.
GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills new content
The Safehouse in the Hills lets users purchase a mansion from Prix Luxury Real Estate.
The mansions are said to feature “sprawling outdoor spaces and meticulously designed interiors”, not to mention a “state-of-the-art AI Assistant to aid with professional and personal tasks”.
Specifically, the mansions contain Trophy Cabinets, a private Salon, animal Kennels, elegant Garages, indoor car podiums, armoury and vehicle workshops, a helipad, a cigar room, vault, media room, arcade and yoga area.
Optional amenities include the ability to host your own parties, and hire a security team.
According to Rockstar Games, the update adds new Law Enforcement Vehicles, Drift variants, Freemode events, and several experience upgrades.
Finally, the new Mission Creator is described as an “in-depth and comprehensive toolkit” that lets you design and publish your own Missions. You can create custom objectives, placeable actors and lots more.
