Melbourne City (Australia) added one more point to South Korea.
Melbourne drew 1-1 against FC Seoul in Game 6 of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League Elite (ACLE) League Stage in the 2025-26 season at Seoul World Cup Stadium on December 10.
Melbourne dedicated the first goal to Jesse Lingard in the 31st minute of the first half, but Kanamori’s powerful mid-range shot in the 29th minute of the second half tied the score.

Melbourne coach Orelio Vidma said, “We played well in away games in Seoul. As it was a difficult opponent, the players did their best.”
“It was unlucky to give up the first run in the first half. After giving up a run, he had difficulty converting balls and water. We found our flow from the second half. “Thanks to the players’ concentration, they take one point,” he said.

Melbourne is in fourth place this season with three wins, one draw and two losses (10 points) in six ACLE games.
Coach Vidma said, “We played six ACLE games this year,” adding, “We have two games left early next year.”
“The competition for ranking is very fierce. I think the competition will continue until the last round,” he said.
