Acclaimed country music star to visit Hersheypark next summer

Grammy-nominated country musician Tyler Childers is pulling into Dauphin County next summer.

The “Whitehouse Road” singer will bring his “Snipe Hunt” tour to Hersheypark Stadium at 6:30 p.m. June 11. The opening act will be American musician Evan Honer.

Tickets will go on sale at 11 a.m. Dec. 12 and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. Citi credit card holders can access a special ticket presale from 11 a.m. Dec. 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 11.

One dollar from every ticket sold will benefit the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund (HHARF) and REVERB.

Childers’ latest album “Snipe Hunter,” debuted on July 25 and landed at No. 7. on the Billboard 200 chart, his highest debut to date.

Dubbed “one of country music’s most compelling and unpredictable artists” by the Associated Press, he is currently nominated for four Grammy Awards, including Best Country Song for “Bitin’ List.” It has earned plaudits from the New York Times, Forbes and GQ.

Having debuted in 2017, Childers is known for such songs as “All Your’n,” “Shake the Frost,” “Lady May” and “In Your Love.”
