After Pokémon Scarlet & Violet tasked players with creating sandwiches, donuts are the name of the game for Mega Dimension in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and, similar to what it was like with sandwiches, top-tier ingredients are required to make the best donuts.

The Bad Dreams Cruller Donut is a vital component to completing the main story in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension DLC, and may require grinding for particular items.
When the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6 mission appears, go to Ansha at Hotel Z to begin baking. With the quest active, an additional option will appear that says “I’d like to try that Cruller recipe,” which must be selected to begin the process.
When selecting ingredients for the donut, a red bar is required to appear on all five tastes; Spicy, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, and Fresh.
Here’s the best option to select from ingredients to get you close to the mark. For the final selection, select a berry that has decent points for Bitter and Fresh.

- 1 Hyper Coba Berry
You’ll know when the right options have been selected, as a mark appears on all five tastes. If you don’t have the required berries above, it’s time to get back into Hyperspace Lumiose to hunt for more.
How to Get Hyper Berries in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The best way to secure a large number of Hyper Berries in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is to complete all three Research Tasks that appear in a Hyperspace Distortion, then destroying the golden Pokéball that appears.
Tasks appearing vary, ranging from catching specific types of Pokémon, catching Pokémon undetected, destroying floating Pokéballs, and collecting sparkling items on the ground.
It’s easy to track your progress, as it’s indicated on the top-right of the screen, but make sure you have enough time to explore and tick off the tasks. If you find you’re running out of time, a higher-quality donut will need to be crafted.
