Film fans have praised this Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill film as ‘the best Mission Impossible movie’ with others declaring it’s a ‘must see’ from the popular movie franchise

A Mission Impossible film hailed as ‘the best of the franchise’ by fans airs on E4 tonight.
Mission Impossible – Fall Out is the sixth in the popular Tom Cruise film saga, and one of its most well received. The film had a successful box office run, grossing over $791 million worldwide against a budget of $178 million. It became the highest-grossing film in the Mission: Impossible franchise at the time and the highest-grossing film of Tom Cruise’s career until Top Gun Maverick.
The 2018 film stars Tom Cruise alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill and Simon Pegg. The film follows Cruise as he returns to the role of Ethan Hunt alongside his team, who must retrieve three stolen plutonium cores from the terrorist group Apostles, who are working with the extremist John Lark.
The mission becomes a race against time after an IMF mission fails, with the Apostles planning to use the cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack that would contaminate the water supply and cause mass casualties.

Hunt’s loyalty is questioned by the CIA, and he must work with CIA agent August Walker, who’s true identity is later revealed. On Rotten Tomatoes the film has a 98% Tomatometer score as one fan gave it five stars as they wrote: “Easily the best MI ever but might just be the greatest action movie of all times.”
Another gave it five stars too as they praised it: “It’s Tom Cruise doing wild stunts, what more do you need? Go watch it!” “This thing stands out in a series of excellent action movies as the MOST excellent action movie. Like the whole franchise was built for this moment,” said another five star review.
Another posted: “Easily the best mission impossible movie. A series of tight set pieces with everything you want, including guns, car chases, motor cycles, and boats. There is one great moment after another and concludes the storyline with the most interesting bad guy in the series. A must see!”

A fifth added: “Best Mission impossible movie. Tom cruise and the whole cast did an incredible job with their roles and the villain twist was awesome. This Film is the pinnacle of the mission impossible franchise.” Another stated: “One of the best movies I ever seen and incredibly entertaining.”
Others pointed out one action sequence in particular as one fan raved: “Love so many action scenes from this movie with Henry Cavill and Tom Cruise. The fight scenes they have in the bathroom and the skydive before it are so cool.”
The skydive fans are referring tos is the High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) jump involved Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill freefalling from 25,000 feet, requiring a year of planning, custom oxygen helmets, and 106 jumps to get the shots.
In true form, Cruise performed other dangerous stunts himself, including a helmet-free motorcycle chase through Paris, a rooftop foot chase across London, and piloting the helicopter in the final chase sequence.
