Why Queen Camilla’s Kids Won’t Be Present for Christmas With Royal Family This Year

But while Camilla’s children won’t be with them this Christmas, Charles and Camilla will still be surrounded by family.
The pair are set to spend them at Sandringham, Norfolk, where they are expected to join the rest of the royal family—including his eldest son Prince William, wife Kate Middleton, and kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7—for their annual Christmas walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church.
And the festivities have already started for much of the family, with William, Kate and their three children gathering together for the Together At Christmas Carol Service at London’s Westminster Abbey Dec. 5. Kate has hosted the annual service—set to air on Christmas Eve—since 2021.
This year, she penned a special letter to attendees.
Even with all the rushing around and familiar traditions, there is a quieter sense of what it calls out in us,” Kate shared, according to People. “There is a softness to the season that reminds us of something easy to forget; that what we do matters. Our words, our choices, and even the ways we look out for one another—they ripple outward, touching lives we may never see.”
