Harrison Ford delivers Christmas message for Tain distillery with a glass of ‘Glenmorungie’

Harrison Ford, the face of Glenmorangie’s recent marketing campaign, is back with a festive message.
Hollywood icon Harrison Ford has returned with a festive message celebrating Tain’s Glenmorangie single malt whisky.
The 83-year-old, famous for his roles in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones film franchises, returns having featured as the face of a web series designed to promote the brand earlier this year.
Now Mr Ford is back, clad in a Santa hat and kilt, to film a one-off festive message.
The spot, which went live today on social media, builds on his irreverent performance in the 12-part series, titled “Once Upon a Time in Scotland”, which was directed by acclaimed Australian actor and filmmaker Joel Edgerton for its eventual launch in January 2025.

The series told the story of Mr Ford reluctantly shooting an advertisement for Glenmorangie, before being won over by its craft, workforce and the whisky itself.
The series showed the actor enjoying the authentic Scottish experience – from getting to grips with the nuances of Scottish pronunciation and kilt etiquette, to bonding with locals over a dram of single malt – all shot in an unconventional, deliberately ‘off-script’ style.
In the new festive message, Ford, whisky in hand says: “I’m Harrison Ford. On behalf of myself and ‘Glenmorungie’, wishing you the happiest of holidays.
An off-screen voice corrects him, “Glenmorangie…”
“Glenmorangie,” he adds, before enjoying a dram. “Nice.”
