Detroit Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat got dealt life-changing news this past weekend, as he welcomed new life into the world.
The family of Alex DeBrincat, Detroit Red Wings forward, grew by one more this weekend as they welcomed a third child together.
This weekend, Alex DeBrincat and his wife announced the birth of their newest child, Leighton.

In contrast to the picture shown above by the Detroit Red Wings announcement, you can see Alex holding Leighton and the newborn resting in a bassinet.
He joins Archie (born in 2022) and Maverick (born in 2024), with Leighton making the family five strong.

In the photos we see above, we see Archie and Maverick joining their parents to welcome their new brother to the world for the first time in one big happy photo.
We saw Lyndsey holding Leighton in other photos, surrounded by their two sons while smiling for the camera. The couple began dating in 2015 and were married on July 31, 2021, and have steadily built a loving family.
Now DeBrincat will have four other supporters to help cheer him on in the future when he makes his respective team for the next Olympics.
It’s up to Guerin to make the final decision, though.
