‘My dad just died’: Kelly Osbourne hits back at cruel weight loss comments

Kelly Osbourne has clapped back at fans online, after many expressed concern over her recent weight loss.

The daughter of late rocker Ozzy Osbourne shocked fans after a recent public outing where she appeared noticeably slimmer.

Osbourne, 41, attended the launch of BBC celebrity baker Juliet Sear’s new signature bakeware collection in London, debuting a new look complete with a voluminous bouffant hairdo and boilersuit.

The British television personality posted a series of photos from the event to Instagram, which featured her dramatic weight loss transformation.

She thanked Sear for her invite to the event, saying, “Not only did we become fast friends but she has promised to come over and teach me and my mum how to bake!”

A slew of comments on the post bluntly addressed her changed appearance, either expressing concern for the star, or harshly criticising her for “not eating.”

Osbourne later posted a now-deleted Instagram video, in which she stated she’s “doing the best [she] can” in the wake of her father’s recent death.

“To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like ‘Are you ill,’ or ‘Get off Ozempic, you don’t look right,’ my dad just died,” she clapped back in the video.

“The only thing I have to live for right now is my family.”

The former The Osbournes reality star then landed the final blow, directly addressing the negative comments and informing those responsible to “f— off.”

But multiple commenters also came to Kelly’s defence, with one sharing her own struggle with grief and weight loss over the loss of her parents.

“You can’t eat and sleep well. Your body loses weight. So instead of advising her to eat, or other inappropriate s–t, have some sympathy.”

Kelly’s mother, Sharon Osbourne, also addressed the unkind comments directed towards her daughter in a recent appearance on YouTube talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The ex-American Idol judge showed Piers Morgan the video of her daughter, revealing that she had been struggling since the death of her father.

“She’s lost her daddy, she can’t eat right now,” Sharon went on to say in defence of her daughter.

Ozzy Osbourne died from a heart attack in July, following a long battle with Coronary Artery Disease and Parkinson’s.
