Aegon has launched a strategic review of its UK business, ‘including divestment’.
In a capital markets day event held today, the Dutch insurer said the company is moving its head office to the US and will rename its holding company Transamerica.
As part of this, the insurer said it could look to sell off its UK business, which includes the Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC) platform, The Aegon Platform and its workplace pension business.
