The Secret Behind Ayman Yahya’s Absence from the Green Falcons’ Training in Preparation for Palestine
Ayman Yahya, player of Al-Nassr Club and the Saudi national team, was absent from the Green Falcons’ training session on Tuesday evening as they prepared to face Palestine in the quarterfinals of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™.
The national team sources explained that Yahya’s absence was due to knee pain, and his final participation status will be decided during the final training session scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Aspire fields.
French coach Hervé Renard resumed training sessions with the Green team, attended by the available players. The players were divided into two groups, according to Sport 360 newspaper.
The first group, which included the starting players from the previous match against Morocco, underwent a recovery workout in the gym, while the second group carried out training on the fields that included small-sided drills and set-piece exercises.
The Saudi national team is preparing for the highly anticipated match against Palestine on Thursday, with close monitoring by the medical staff to ensure all players are fully fit, especially those who are injured or experiencing minor pain.
Renard hopes to maintain a balance between the technical and physical aspects of the team to ensure a strong performance that secures qualification to the Arab Cup semifinals, while leveraging previous experience to face the Palestinian national team.
