Randy Travis announces Lake Charles concert scheduled for spring 2026

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Country and gospel music icon Randy Travis is coming to Lake Charles next year.

Travis has a show scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Lake Charles Event Center’s Rosa Hart Theatre.

The show is part of Travis’ “More Life” tour featuring vocalist James Dupré and Travis’ original touring band.

According to Travis’ website, Travis will not be performing vocally due to the effects of the stroke he survived in 2013. Instead, he will appear on stage with his wife, engaging with fans and the band, while Dupré and the band perform hits like “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”

“It’s a gift to me to spend time with my fans, and my band, as James Dupré perfectly presents the songs that best define my career. We look forward to seeing you all somewhere along the way,” Travis said on his website.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, and can be purchased HERE.
