It’s safe to say that 2025 was an excellent year for Gap. If you ask me, they did such a good job at leaning into specific trends and subcultures that really got the people (but most importantly, the girls) excited. Earlier this week, on Monday, December 8th, Gap announced that its latest GapX collection is in partnership with the viral beauty brand Summer Fridays. Just in case you’re unfamiliar, Summer Fridays is responsible for creating one of the most viral lip care products on the market. For the past two years, their Lip Butter Balms have been a must-have staple for Gen Z’s makeup bag, and their Jet Lag Masque has been featured in an endless number of airplane Get Ready With Me videos. But their beauty reach doesn’t stop there — and now they’re going even further with their first apparel collaboration with Gap.

Who’s That in the New Gap X Summer Fridays Campaign?
It’s Barbie Ferreira! The model and Euphoria actor is front and center in the new video campaign, showing just how effortless the new collection feels and how seamlessly it’ll fit into your everyday life. In the campaign, she can be seen wearing the latest pair of flannel pajamas and a matching set with a grey hoodie that reads “Summer” in classic “GAP” lettering.
What Else Is in the New Gap X Summer Fridays Collection? & What Should I Get?
So the collection is all about being cute and comfy, so think soft pjs and cozy sweats. In total, there are 20 new pieces, ranging from matching fleece and pajama sets to the cutest knit sweater and coordinating headbands. And considering this is a collection with a beauty brand, there is a special Summer Fridays bundle that includes some of their best-selling products in a co-branded cosmetics pouch.
Personally, I think the entire collection is so sweet. It’s both sophisticated and playful, which is precisely what you would expect from Gap. I would aim to reach for a set (or two) of matching pajamas, as well as the grey hoodie that Barbie Ferreira wears throughout the campaign. But honestly, whatever you can get your hands on will be worthwhile, because we can tell this collection will sell out almost immediately.
