A festive concert featuring more than 70 performers is set to light up Peterborough this Christmas.
Christmas Magic 2025 will take place at Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday, December 13, with both a 2.30pm matinee and a 7.30pm evening show, promising a “magical musical sleigh ride” through classic seasonal favourites in a “wonderful” setting.
The family event will feature a brass ensemble and massed choirs performing traditional and modern Christmas classics.

The 2025 programme will include well-loved songs such as Carol Of The Bells, When A Child is Born, White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, The Christmas Song, and It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, along with traditional carols including Joy To The World, Away In A Manger, and Silent Night.
Peterborough Cathedral will be transformed for the occasion, with festive decorations, candlelight and a special light show to set the scene.
Last year, nearly 1,500 people attended Christmas Magic, describing it as “An incredible event that brings so much joy to so many people!”
Other audience members called it “The perfect start to the festive season!”, with praise for the “Amazing performances and stunning lighting effects!”
Organisers say the concert is guaranteed to put you in the festive spirit.
