Mavericks’ Cooper Flagg makes NBA history only done by LeBron, ‘Melo and Wemby

Cooper Flagg, yet again, has made some NBA history.
It feels like everywhere you turn, there’s another stat about the Dallas Mavericks’ No. 1 overall pick that says he’s like very few other players the league has ever seen.
The latest involves three other greats: LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Victor Wembanyama.
OptaStats shared the criteria on X on Friday.
These are the four players in NBA history to reach 400 points, 150 rebounds, 30 steals and 20 made 3-pointers in the first 25 games of their career.
LeBron and ‘Melo did it in the same season. Wemby did it a couple years ago. And now Flagg is on the list.

Flagg is actually playing his 25th game on Friday night, so he got to the marks with a game to spare.
The former Duke Blue Devils star is averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game.
The Mavs have begun to be involved in Anthony Davis trade rumors in part because it’s already clear they need to prioritize building around Flagg.
Flagg is still 18, too. He’ll turn 19 on Dec. 21.
The superstardom is coming quickly for Flagg.
