The trio covered a wide range of topics, but it was Cena’s several unexpected mentions of Bangor that really piqued our interest.
In three separate moments during the two-hour, eleven-minute podcast, John Cena name-drops Bangor, Maine—not just once, but three times.

As he rattles off venues like Madison Square Garden and AT&T Stadium, he once again slips in Bangor, Maine, as one of the standout spots he’s worked.
The third time Cena mentioned Bangor came at one hour and eighteen minutes into the podcast, while he was breaking down the intricacies of WWE’s TV and road schedule.
He explained how the company often hits smaller markets first for non-televised live events—using Bangor as the example—before heading to a larger nearby market like Boston for the televised show.
