There’s just two episodes of Strictly Come Dancing left for 2025 and as the competition heats up, we’re expecting all the celebrities’ friends and families to be on the front row to support them in these tough final weeks. And one person we’re very intrigued to see in the glitter ballroom is George Clarke’s girlfriend Yasmin Amelia, but who is she?
Yasmin has appeared in Strictly a few times since the first live show, supporting George and his professional partner Alexis Warr as they’ve progressed through the competition.

Yasmin Amelia is a model signed to agency J’Adore Models. She is a recent graduate of Northumbria University where she studied Fashion Communication.

How long have George and Yasmin been together?
George announced prior to going on Strictly Come Dancing he was in a relationship. Back in late summer he shared his relationship news during a live stream, where he said he had been dating someone and they had been official for a month and a half.
Fast forward to December and it now means the pair have been together for around six months.
When sharing his relationship update, George revealed how he wanted to keep it private but not secret from his followers.
“I’ve always said I don’t want it to be, if I did have a relationship, I wouldn’t want it to be a public thing,” he explained during the live. “But I feel like it’s just a nicer feeling to have it be known and be private. As opposed to it being a complete secret.”
The pair have kept their relationship pretty private, only occasionally popping up on each other’s social media. However, they did make their red carpet debut at the TikTok Awards in November.
What has George said about his relationship with Yasmin?
Since he’s appeared on Strictly Come Dancing George has appeared in a number of interviews where he’s opened up about his relationship with Yasmin. During an interview with Inside The Industry, George revealed the couple’s first date was at an arcade and George took Yasmin back there to make their relationship official.
He also spoke about wanting to make it clear, Yasmin has her own identity outside of dating him, adding: “I’ve tried to make it apparent that like yes she is now ‘my girlfriend’ but she’s not now ‘my girlfriend’. She’s her own person.”
George then added: “I’ve always said I don’t want my relationship to be in the public eye, but I feel there’s a difference between people knowing you’re in a relationship and then being private behind closed doors, [versus] posting videos of them doing the girlfriend tag or whatever.”
