Standard Chartered announced today that it is expanding its partnership with Coinbase to explore the development of digital asset trading, prime services, custody, staking and lending solutions for institutional clients.
The collaboration builds on an existing banking relationship in which Standard Chartered enables real time SGD transfers for Coinbase customers.
Margaret Harwood-Jones, Global Head, Financing & Securities Services, Standard Chartered said, “By combining Standard Chartered’s cross-border trading and custody expertise with Coinbase’s advanced digital asset capabilities and global market reach, we aim to explore how the two organisations can support secure, transparent and interoperable solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.”
