Best Dallas Goedert Prop Bets for Eagles vs. Chargers on Monday 12/8/25

Griffin Wong details his top Dallas Goedert prop bets for Eagles vs. Chargers on Monday Night Football.
Two weeks ago, the Philadelphia Eagles looked like they’d follow up their Super Bowl title from February with a first-round bye. The last two games, though, have revealed cracks in Philadelphia’s armor, as the offense sputtered in losses to the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears.
The Eagles are still in excellent position to make the playoffs, as they lead the Cowboys by two games, but a win tonight against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football would go a long way towards helping Philadelphia re-claim the No. 1 seed from the Los Angeles Rams. Tonight’s contest will begin at 8:15 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The Eagles are 2.5-point favorites for tonight’s clash at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 41.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Philadelphia tight end Dallas Goedert.
Best Dallas Goedert Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Dallas Goedert U1.5 1st Quarter Receiving Yards (-115)
Goedert has had a quiet season, as he’s simply been surpassed in the Eagles’ offensive pecking order. Besides a nine-catch, 110-yard game against the New York Giants in Week 6, he hasn’t recorded more than 44 reception yards in any game, and he’s had just two catches in each of his last three contests. DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown are clearly the preferred receiving options in Philadelphia, and with Saquon Barkley enjoying his most productive receiving season in half a decade, there’s just not a lot of touches for Goedert.
That’s especially true in the first quarter, when he’s had just 71 yards on 13 targets across the first 12 games of the season. The opening frame has been his second-worst quarter by catches and his worst by yards and yards per catch. He’s also averaged just three catches and 29.2 yards per game at home, far worse than his averages on the road.
The Chargers have done a great job against opposing tight ends overall. This season, Los Angeles has conceded the second-fewest catches and third-fewest yards to the position, and it has one of the league’s best coverage safeties in Derwin James Jr., as well as a very solid slot corner in Tahreeb Still. Plus, the Chargers have done a great job controlling the clock, averaging the second-highest possession share in the first quarter, which should limit Goedert’s early opportunities.
Dallas Goedert Anytime TD Scorer (+295)
Despite my overall pessimism in Goedert’s prospects today, he could still make his presence felt as an end zone target. While the Eagles have different receivers for different roles, Smith and Barkley are mostly used as possession receivers and yard-chewers, while Brown and Goedert are the go-to targets in the red zone. Despite not having scored since Week 8, Goedert still leads the team with 7 touchdown catches and leads the team in red-zone catches.
That’s also one area in which Los Angeles has comparatively struggled. Though the Chargers have been excellent against opposing tight ends overall, they have allowed six touchdowns to the position, tied for the eighth-most in football. They’ve also allowed close to a league-median red-zone conversion rate, so as long as the Eagles can drive down into the red zone, they might be able to get it to their preferred target. James and Still are tall for their respective positions, but Goedert still has three inches on James and four on Still.
