ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was taken into custody Sunday following an incident at the Ritz-Carlton, during which Atlanta police blocked off a Downtown Atlanta street.

Patrol cars were seen barricading Peachtree Street NE at the intersection of Andrew Young International Boulevard NE. Police said the man at the hotel refused to leave and may have been armed.
SWAT team members arrived at the hotel around 4 p.m.
No other details were released.
