Wednesday fans have to enjoy Pierce Charles for as long as they can, because he’s not going to be here next season.
He has the potential to play for a top-six Premier League club. There will be people thinking I’m over-exaggerating but, when you see him play, the potential is enormous.
Fans call for Henrik Pederson to play the youngsters. But Charlie McNeill, who’s come into this in good form, had a really iffy first quarter of this match.
That will put Pederson off putting more of the youngsters in. You don’t want to damage their development by putting them in too early.
