A THIS Morning presenter was forced to pull out of today’s live show shortly before going on air.
Dermot O’Leary opened the show by thanking a group of children from a primary school for singing a Christmas song at the top of the episode.

Dermot O’Leary revealed Emma Willis had pulled out, and Josie Gibson was stepping inCredit: ITV
He then revealed that a host was forced to pull out of the show because of an illness.
“Look who’s back with you,” he said.
“It’s only Miss Josephine Gibson,” Dermot added, pointing to Josie who was stood beside him.
“Hi Josie,” he said, to which she replied, “Thanks for having me Dermot, thank you.”

He then revealed: “Emma Willis was supposed to be with us, but Emma is feeling a bit poorly.”
Dermot then proceeded to blow kisses down the camera lens to Emma, and Josie wished her well.
“Oh Emma, we hope you get well soon. We’re missing you, we’re missing you,” she said.
Fans were quick to voice their thoughts on Emma’s replacement, with some even begging for Josie to become a permanent fixture on the show.
“@Josiestweet looks so good on that couch alongside Dermot.
“Please make her the permanent #Thismorning presenter,” said one person on X.
A second person then echoed: “Josie for the #Thismorning permanent presenter.”
Then, just moments after viewers found out Emma had pulled out of her hosting duties, chaos struck again.
Doctor Nighat was on the show chatting to hosts Josie and Dermot about King Charles and his cancer battle, and other medical topics.
As she chatted to the hosts and two panelists, a ringtone began to play.
Sayeeda Warsi, who was in the studio speaking with Gyles Brandreth, quickly realised that it was her phone ringing.
She was left completely taken aback and looking a little awkward.
Red-faced, she looked stunned as Gyles Brandreth picked up the phone and answered it for her.
Gyles explained how it was her husband.
He then told him that Sayeeda would phone him back later, with her left looking embarrassed.
One fan took to X to say: “Gyles is hilarious,” shortly after the moment happened live on air.
