Fortnite’s annual seasonal event is here, bringing Christmas to the battle royale with Winterfest 2025. Not only are there new skins and cosmetics, but half the Chapter 7 Season 1 map is now covered in snow and there’s a new point of interest to land at!

Fortnite Winterfest 2025 End Date
Fortnite Winterfest 2025 is set to end on January 5, 2026, giving you just over two weeks to claim all the free gifts.

Fortnite Winterfest 2025 Details
The Winterfest Cabin returns in Fortnite Winterfest 2025, which means, yes, we’re getting free gifts again this year. Lt. Winter has prepared 14 presents for players, which range from Back Blings and Pickaxes to skins.
Winterfest 2025 Free Gifts
You can unwrap one present per day in Fortnite Winterfest, with the daily reset occurring at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. You can unlock them in any order you choose, with the exception of the two skins: the Glacial Dummy Outfit is unwrapped after the seventh present, and the Cheeks Outfit after you’ve opened 13.

Several holiday-themed skins are coming to the Fortnite Item Shop throughout Winterfest 2025, including:

Fortnite Winterfest 2025 Map and New POI
The Fortnite Winterfest 2025 map has added snow to the top half of the island, alongside a new POI called Clawsy Lodge, which is located between Wonkeeland and Latte Landing.
Clawsy Lodge is a Christmas-themed location, consisting of various cabins. From our experience dropping here so far, it’s a great place to find loot as there is an abundance of chests.
Be careful, though, as it’s definitely a hotspot as everyone else wants to check out the new POI, too!
You can also find the Winterfest cabin on the map! It’s just south of Clawsy Lodge and is decorated to look like a building from Hogsmeade in Harry Potter, complete with a broomstick above the door. There are also several Harry Potter-themed decorations inside.
Fortnite Winterfest 2025 New Boss – Yule Trooper
A new boss has been added to the Fortnite Winterfest 2025 map: the Yule Trooper. Like the other Chapter 7 Season 1 bosses, the Yule Trooper spawns randomly and, once defeated, drops a Medallion that allows you to transform into him.
Yule Trooper also drops the Yule Trooper’s Holo Rush SMG, which is a Mythic weapon that has increased fire rate when aiming down sights, and a Chug Jug, plus other random loot.
