A familiar face on Loose Women has shared a heartfelt goodbye to his colleagues after an eight-year stint on the ITV programme.
Earlier this year, ITV announced significant changes to its daytime line-up, affecting shows such as Loose Women, Lorraine, This Morning and Good Morning Britain.
Starting from January 2026, these programmes will be broadcast from a new central London location and will follow a revised schedule.
As part of the reshuffle, Loose Women will return to its former time slot of 12.30pm to 1.30pm, operating on a “seasonal basis” for 30 weeks of the year.
The show will also bid farewell to its live studio audience, which means comedian Lee Peart, who has been warming up the crowd since 2017, will be stepping down from his role, reports the Mirror.

Lee confirmed his departure in a touching social media post this week, sharing a photo of himself alongside panellists Ruth Langford, Gloria Hunniford and Kellé Bryan.
He wrote: “Two weeks today will be my final Loose Women! A bittersweet end of an era… the goodbyes are starting as it’s the last time I’ll work with Ruth, Gloria and Kellie in this capacity!”.
Since sharing his news on Facebook, Lee has received an outpouring of support from fans.
One social media user commented: “We’ve been twice with you as the warm up man, you’re very funny, even funnier when one of the women in the audience takes a shine to you.”

Someone else remarked: “I was literally just thinking about how close Christmas is and it being your last couple of weeks at LW! I’m sure they’ll miss you as much you’ll miss them! Thank you for the times I came to the show and was your guest. I loved every visit and you were so kind and brilliant. Take Care, Lee.”
A third viewer expressed: “Gutted it’s changing as a regular in the audience but I wish you good luck in the future.” Another added: “The legend Lee, we’ll miss you on Loose Women!”.

Founding Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha, who became part of the ITV programme in 1999, spoke about her “dear friend” Lee’s departure during her Coffee Moaning podcast with spouse Mark Adderley.
She revealed at the time: “From next year there will be no Loose Women audience,” adding: “I am totally devastated by this fact, I can’t get over it at all.
“Not only because the audience is so important for the show, but also my dear friend Lee who I work with every day.”
The ITV shake-up will also see Lorraine reduced to a 30-week run with programmes lasting from 9.30am to 10am, whilst This Morning will maintain its slot from 10am to 12.30pm.
Good Morning Britain will have its duration extended by 30 minutes per episode, broadcasting from 6am to 9.30am. These programmes will run for an additional 30 minutes during periods when Lorraine is off-air.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm
