Young boy who died in drowning tragedy is named

A KILLYGORDON teenager who lost his life in a drowning tragedy in Stranorlar will be laid to rest on Sunday.
Conor Temple (13), of Cavan Lower, Killygordon, passed away yesterday after he was involved in a tragic accident.
Gardaí and a number of other emergency services attended the scene of the tragedy shortly before 5.40pm yesterday evening, after receiving reports of a person entering the River Finn at Drumboe Woods.
The young boy was taken from the water and brought to Letterkenny University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
News of Conor’s passing has been met with deep sadness and shock in the local community.
Conor’s remains will be reposing at his late residence tomorrow, Saturday, December 20from 12 noon to 9 pm.
His funeral will leave his late residence on Sunday, December 21 at 10.20am for requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar at 11am.
After Mass, burial will take place in Drumboe cemetery.
Conor is the beloved son of Clare and Aidan, much loved brother to Aoibhin and Matthew, cherished grandson of Carmel and Laurence, and the late Bridget and Pat.
He is deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
