Fortnite’s upcoming collaboration with The Simpsons reportedly includes a detailed map of Springfield, designed in the animated show’s iconic art style. Springfield is easily one of the most recognizable towns in animated television history, and Fortnite may be looking to capitalize on that familiar setting.
Collaborations with other IPs make up a big part of Fortnite‘s appeal. With Halloween season in full swing, Poppy Playtime‘s Huggy Wuggy is expected to join Fortnite on October 23, while a collaboration with Scooby-Doo has been going on since October 11.
Following rumors from early summer that a Fortnite crossover with The Simpsons was in the works for a mini-season, Epic Games has since confirmed that it will be happening, starting on November 1. Now, new information suggests that the mini-season will include a map that is “fully Springfield,” referencing the animated show’s hometown locale.
