Roblox Down on Oct. 20 Due to Global Server Issues Affecting Multiple Services

It’s not just Palworld and Fortnite that are down on October 20, but even Roblox is affected as well. The Roblox server outage is happening the same time, as it’s due to an on-going global server interruption at Amazon.

Roblox Servers Down Due to Amazon

Currently, the developers said that everything is operational, though some might still be having issues logging in. Here’s a timelone of what happened today:

October 20, 2025 00:23 PDT

[Identified] Roblox is experiencing an outage due to an outage involving AWS services. We are working with AWS to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

October 20, 2025 02:08 PDT

[Monitoring] AWS is reporting that they have put in a fix, and we are starting to see partial service recovery. https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status

October 20, 2025 02:22 PDT

[Monitoring] We are seeing full recovery across all services. We are actively monitoring the situation to ensure that player experience is no longer disrupted.

[Resolved] All identified services are recovered

The studio is referring to the Amazon server issues that has affected the game and other online services and products. It’s unknown how long this will last, but we’re hoping not for long.
