Pizza Hut in the UK announces bankruptcy: what will happen to the restaurants

Pizza Hut in the United Kingdom has announced administration
Today, Pizza Hut restaurants in the United Kingdom have paused operations as 68 locations capable of serving customers have closed, putting hundreds of jobs at risk, reports The Sun. The owner of Pizza Hut restaurants in the UK, DC London Pie Limited, appointed FTI Consulting as administrators on Monday.
Just minutes after this, Pizza Hut’s global owner, Yum! Brands, struck a deal to rescue the 64 remaining operational locations.
“Efforts will be focused on preserving our business and ensuring sustainable growth,” stated Yum! Brands.
This situation has posed a serious challenge for the restaurant industry, especially in the context of a constantly changing market. Reviving the business and retaining jobs remain top priorities for the company and its employees.
