Hollyoaks is set to be forever changed by what transpires on screen at this week as the popular serial drama celebrates 30 years on air.
The long-running Channel 4 soap marks three decades of delicious drama with a week full of twists, turns, tragedy and trauma in episodes currently hitting screens.
The wedding of Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) certainly proved eventful but there’s much more to come, with Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) and Jez Blake’s (Jeremy Sheffield) big plan to get revenge still set to unfold.
And that’s not all, with the highly-anticipated Brookside crossover coming this Wednesday as Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) arrives on the Close to be met with matriarch Sheila Grant (Sue Johnston).
The events of the episode spill into Hollyoaks Later, which makes a sizzling comeback on the night in question, with police drama set to unfold for Donny while the teens of the village live it up in Liverpool.

But just how exactly the milestone week will conclude remains shrouded in mystery? We’re keeping tight-lipped but expect dramatic scenes aplenty.
As for the week after? Without giving anything away, what we can tell you is that the village is left in shock by what has transpired.
A village torn apart with devastation
Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson), for one, is heartbroken by the events of anniversary week and thus leaves his home with a bag full of possessions.
The police, meanwhile, are forced into an alliance with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) while Misbah Malik (Harvey Virdi) is left reeling from big news.
Donny brands himself a ‘coward’ amid a conversation with his family but reiterates his love for him. Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) is trying to get her head around everything that has unfolded while Misbah searches for answers herself – but she is left upset to discover that Donny intends on leaving the village.

A confrontation between Donny and Froggy Black (John Middleton) soon follows – but who will come out victorious?
Elsewhere, family drama is in high supply, with Arlo Fielding (Dan Hough) horrified by what transpired at the wedding while Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is utterly grief-stricken as her loved ones rally around her.
Dodger Savage (Danny Mac), however, struggles with Sienna and makes a difficult decision that goes against his police instincts.
And speaking of police, the authorities are on the hunt for a suspect, who remains at large.
Intriguing!
Later in the week, Dodger makes a statement about what happened on the previous night and the police are confident that they’re on track to crack the gang.
That is, until an unexpected turn of events follow.
Brookside’s Billy Corkhill finds himself in Hollyoaks village (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Meanwhile, Brookside resident Billy Corkhill (John McArdle) arrives in Hollyoaks to pick up on the fallout of the revelations that unfolded on the Close – and he soon finds out that Brookside and Hollyoaks aren’t all that different.
Elsewhere, Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) is reunited with Frankie (Isabelle Smith), who returns home from their trip to Liverpool. Frankie opens up on how she once again feels unsafe but Lucas is struggling as he starts to feel jealous.
The question is: jealous of what?

And finally, emotional scenes take place at the hospital mortuary. And the hospital is on high alert after an intruder is confirmed.
