The event, which will take place this December at the Makuhari Messe, will feature a reunion of the original cast, an exclusive art collaboration, and a special DeLorean photo opportunity.
A key highlight of the project is a special art collaboration, where a total of ten famous, all-star Japanese manga artists and illustrators have created new, original artwork to celebrate the film.

These special tribute illustrations will be displayed at the event and will also be used for a line of exclusive, limited-edition merchandise.
At the official merchandise booth, a special photo opportunity will also be available.
Customers who spend ¥8,800 (approx. $60 USD / £48 GBP) or more in a single transaction will get the chance to have their photo taken with a replica of the legendary “DeLorean” time machine.
It has also been confirmed that several of the main cast members from the film will be attending Tokyo Comic Con 2025 as guests.
The attending cast includes Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown), Lea Thompson (Lorraine McFly), Tom Wilson (Biff Tannen), and Claudia Wells (Jennifer Parker).
The actors will be participating in autograph and photo sessions with fans throughout the weekend, and they will also appear on the main stage on the final day of the event, Sunday, the 7th of December, to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
A special “Christopher Lloyd Photo Ticket with DeLorean” is also being sold, which has been reported as the number one best-selling ticket for the event so far.
Finally, a limited number of autographed portraits signed by the film’s star, Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly), will be sold at the event.
These rare collectibles will be available in two different versions: one signed only by Michael J. Fox, and another signed by both him and Mary Steenburgen (Clara Clayton).
