Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age set to rock Mosaic Stadium in September

The Foo Fighters will be rocking out at Mosaic Stadium in September along with Queens of the Stone Age.
The Regina Exhibition Association made the announcement on Thursday after dropping some hints on social media earlier in the week. The concert is set for Sept. 15, with general ticket sales opening on Halloween at 10 a.m.

“We’re beyond thrilled to bring the Foo Fighters to Regina next year,” Rick Bennett, the association’s CEO, said in a statement.
“Fans have been waiting for a moment like this, and the energy this show will unleash across the city will be unforgettable.”
Fans have indeed been waiting for another concert at Mosaic Stadium, which hasn’t happened since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The last concert at Mosaic Stadium was a performance by Garth Brooks in 2019.
The Foo Fighters were scheduled to play shows in both Regina and Saskatoon back in 2022, but the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins meant the band had to cancel the remainder of their tour.
According to the exhibition association, tickets range in price from $59.50 to $299.50.
“The economic impact for Regina and the surrounding areas will be substantial,” Bennett said. “We expect fans from across Western Canada and the northern U.S. to make the trip, filling hotels, restaurants, and local businesses.”
