Jimmy Butler best prop bets for Warriors vs. Nuggets on Thursday 10/23/25

Brendan O’Sullivan breaks down his best Jimmy Butler bets for Thursday’s matchup between the Warriors and Nuggets.
The second of two NBA games tonight is between the Warriors and Nuggets.
Golden State began its season with a victory over the Lakers on Tuesday, while Denver hasn’t played its first game yet. This will be the first look at the Nuggets this season.
Denver is a 1.5-point road underdog and +105 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. Golden State is a -125 favorite. The total for this game is set at 233.5 points. Let’s get into my best Jimmy Butler prop bets for tonight’s matchup.
Best Jimmy Butler Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Jimmy Butler 20+ points (+103)
Butler was fairly disappointing for the Warriors last season. He averaged just 17.9 points per game in 30 games with the team. While Golden State upset Houston in first round, it seemed Butler was still adjusting to the new team.
It’s only been one game, but it seems that adjustment period is over. Butler looks like a leader again after scoring 31 points on 7-of-14 shooting and 16-of-16 from the free throw line. It’s unlikely that he replicates his free throws, but he’ll still get to the line a good amount of times.
Butler is at his best when he’s aggressive, and the first game showed his comfort playing alongside the rest of the team. Even if Butler takes a step back, he can hit the over on this prop bet.
The Warriors are also playing a Denver team that isn’t the best defensively. The Nuggets allowed 116.9 points per game last year, ranking 25th in the league. They didn’t make any major defensive acquisitions, so the Nuggets could have a similar output this year.
