In

  • Domantas Sabonis | Hamstring | Sacramento Kings
    • Star big man Domantas Sabonis suffered a grade 1 hamstring strain in a preseason game against the Clippers last week. After missing the season opener, he now comes back quicker than expected for tonight’s game against the Jazz. A minutes restriction may be possible, but Sabonis is a double-double machine who dominates the boards whenever on the court.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo | Toe | Milwaukee Bucks
    • The Greek Freak began his 2025-26 campaign with 37 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists against the Wizards. Ahead of the Bucks’ second game of the season against Toronto, Antetokounmpo appeared on the injury report with a toe injury. It doesn’t seem serious, but if he is unable to play, a few players that should have increased roles on offense are Kyle Kuzma, Taurean Prince, and Myles Turner.
  • Kel’el Ware | Ankle | Miami Heat
  • Ja’Kobe Walter | Illness | Toronto Raptors
  • Karl-Anthony Towns | Quad | New York Knicks
    • Even though KAT entered the first game of the season questionable, he played and totaled 19 points and 11 rebounds. OG Anunoby had a terrific performance against the Cavaliers and led the Knicks in scoring with 24 points.
  • OG Anunoby | Ankle | New York Knicks
  • Josh Hart | Back | New York Knicks
  • Ja Morant | Ankle | Memphis Grizzlies
    • After two disappointing seasons, Ja Morant returned to elite form in the Grizzlies’ season opener, as he dropped 35 points on 65 percent shooting from the field. Before the season, Morant dealt with a sprained ankle, and showed it wasn’t a problem on Wednesday. In the scenario that Morant and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope sit out, Jaren Jackson Jr., Jaylen Wells, and Santi Aldama will need to step up.
  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope | Ankle | Memphis Grizzlies
  • Jae’Sean Tate | Ankle | Houston Rockets

Out

  • LeBron James | Sciatica | Los Angeles Lakers
    • With James sidelined for about a month to open the year, Luka Doncic is the obvious candidate to step into a significantly expanded role as the sole primary playmaker. That’s exactly what the young superstar did in L.A.’s season opener, recording 43 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. Austin Reaves will also be asked to produce more as a scorer, while Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt could receive more minutes.
    • TOP DFS PLAYS with James out: Luka Doncic ($11,500); Austin Reaves ($7,500); Rui Hachimura ($5,500)
    • TOP PICK6 PICKS with James out: Luka Doncic More Than 31.5 Points; Austin Reaves More Than 21.5 Points
  • Kevin Porter Jr. | Ankle | Milwaukee Bucks
  • De’Aaron Fox | Hamstring | San Antonio Spurs
  • Luka Garza | Concussion | Boston Celtics
  • Mitchell Robinson | Ankle | New York Knicks
  • Darius Garland | Toe | Cleveland Cavaliers
    • Last season, Garland battled a toe injury and underwent surgery on it in June. Although Head Coach Kenny Akinson said Garland is progressing well, he will miss the first few games of the season. With Garland sidelined, Lonzo Ball, Sam Merrill, and Jaylen Tyson should see increased minutes.
    • TOP DFS PLAYS with Garland out: Lonzo Ball ($4,400); Sam Merrill ($4,600); Jaylon Tyson ($4,000)
    • TOP PICK6 PICKS with Garland out: Sam Merrill More Than 10.5 Points

  • Dorian Finney-Smith | Ankle | Houston Rockets

    • Herro is unable to start the season on the floor after undergoing surgery to fix the posterior impingement syndrome in his left ankle. Herro had the surgery four weeks ago, but is still expected to be sidelined until mid-November. With Herro out, Davion Mitchell and Norman Powell will have to be larger contributors to start the season.
    • TOP DFS PLAYS with Herro out: Norman Powell ($7,500); Davion Mitchell ($6,000)
