What to expect from Dispatch

In Dispatch, you follow the tale of Robert Robertson, a former hero once known as Mecha Man, who, after being in a coma for some time, starts working as a dispatcher. While not a superhero anymore, Robert can save lives by managing a team of ex-villains and helping the people who call for help. The challenge? Make his team work with him.

Made up of some of the team that worked on The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands, AdHoc studio developed Dispatch to bring a kind of story-driven experience familiar to those who grew up playing the titles from Telltale Games. Split into episodes, you can choose dialogue options to take the narrative along different paths and see Robert Robertson’s story develop from unexpected perspectives.

When it comes to gameplay, Dispatch offers all the action a call center agent assigning missions to powerful individuals can. Each of these characters has different stats, and figuring out which one is more suitable for each mission is part of your job — I mean, Robert’s… Robert’s job. In other moments, you will have segments where you must pick between a few dialogue options before you run out of time, which will affect the story and relationships.

To add an emotional weight to Robert Robertson’s daily activities, Dispatch has Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) voicing the protagonist, and Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) giving life to Chase, a friend of Robert.
