New Delhi: Virat Kohli who has been struggling with the bat in the ongoing three-match ODI series against Australia, registered two consecutive ducks for the first time in his 15-years career.
After taking a single off the first ball he faced, Virat Kohli punched the air in celebration, avoiding a three back-to-back ducks in the series. As the TV cameras focused on him, Kohli smiled and received applause from fans, celebrating his first runs in the series his first international runs in seven months.

Sydney was buzzing with excitement as the packed crowd gave Kohli a standing ovation when he walked in to bat in the 11th over following Gill’s dismissal. Even spectators at the Sydney Cricket Ground cheered the man who had dominated Australian bowling for over a decade.

The hosts were dismissed for 236 in 46.4 overs following a disappointing batting display in Saturday’s dead rubber, as every top-order batsman got a start but failed to capitalize. Australia had been comfortably placed at 3-183 in the 34th over before suffering a dramatic collapse of 7-53.
