Live Updates: Wembanyama, Pacers-Timberwolves, highlights

Sunday’s NBA action kicked off with Victor Wembanyama scoring 31 points in a 118-107 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

What we know about Sunday’s games

  • With no national TV games tonight, this evening is the perfect time to make the jump and purchase NBA League Pass, so you don’t miss any of the action.
  • You can also follow along on the NBA app for the latest news, scores, and highlights.
  • Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs stay hot, moving to 3-0 after a matinee takedown of the Nets, 118-107.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are off to an electric start, sitting at 2-0, and will face their toughest task to date against the Cavaliers in Cleveland at 6 PM ET. Saying Giannis has been dominant would be no exaggeration either, as he’s the first player in NBA history to tally 60+ points, 30+ rebounds, and 10+ assists in the first two games of a season.
  • The Lakers, who are already without LeBron James (Sciatica), will now be without Luka Dončić for at least a week due to a finger sprain and lower leg contusion. They’ll need Austin Reeves, Rui Hachimura, Deandre Ayton, and anyone else to step up when they take the floor against the Kings at 9 PM ET.

He deserves his own post

Wembanyama is off to a torrid start for the 2025-26 campaign, proving that we all still really have no idea how great he can be yet.

His elite-tier effort today earned him the ability to call himself the first player in NBA history to record 100+ points and 15+ blocks through his team’s first three games.

He’s just getting started.

Spurs move to 3-0

San Antonio overcame a 40-11 second-half run from the Nets and held on for a 118-107 victory.

Although it came in a losing effort, Cam Thomas was sensational, canning 5 of 12 3-point attempts in a 40-point game-high effort.
