With his win over Botic van de Zandschulp at the Rolex Paris Masters, Ethan Quinn advanced through the qualifying rounds into the main draw of an ATP Tour event for a ninth time during the 2025 season. This is one shy of the ATP Tour record for a single season set by Alexei Popyrin in 2019 and Mischa Zverev in 2016, according to the ATP Tour. It also marks the most since Taro Daniel also achieved the feat nine times during the 2022 season.

Quinn, the 21-year-old from Fresno, California ranked a career-high No. 71 this week, also advanced through qualifying at ATP Tour events in 2025 in Tokyo, Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona, Miami, Indian Wells and Dallas as well as at Roland Garros in Paris. Incidentally, he also got into the main draw in Delray Beach as a lucky loser, after losing in the final of qualifying to Zach Svajda. Prior to qualifying at the Paris Indoors, Quinn lost in the final round of qualifying  in Vienna and Stockholm. Quinn started the year by advancing through the qualifying rounds at the Canberra Challenger level event in Australian and reached the final, losing to Joao Fonseca. This was a 10th event he advanced via qualifying in, but not a ATP Tour level event.

Quinn won the NCAA singles title while playing for the University of Georgia in 2023 as a freshman before turning pro,
