Blue Jays underdogs with Gausman on the mound for Game 2 of World Series

After entering the World Series as massive underdogs, the Toronto Blue Jays have taken a 1-0 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Toronto’s odds to win the World Series moved from +190 to -102 on FanDuel following their 11-4 win Friday night.
Six of the last seven teams to win Game 1 went on to win the World Series.

Despite winning Game 1 by seven runs, Toronto sits as a +126 underdog on FanDuel to take a 2-0 series lead with their ace on the mound.
Kevin Gausman gets the ball for the Blue Jays in Game 2, it will be his fifth appearance in the playoffs.
The 34-year-old has a 2-1 record with a 2.00 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 18 innings this October.
In nine career games against the Dodgers, Gausman has a 2-3 record while allowing 18 earned runs over 45.1 innings. Last season, he tossed seven innings against the Dodgers, picking up a win while striking out five.
Gausman to strike out five hitters with Toronto winning is currently +195 on FanDuel.
Los Angeles will counter with Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
The 27-year-old has allowed just four earned runs in 19.2 innings this postseason and has 18 strikeouts.
This will be the first time in his career facing the Blue Jays.
Ohtani remains World Series MVP Favourite
The Blue Jays lead the series 1-0, but it is Shohei Ohtani leading the way in MVP odds for the series at +170.
Ohtani went 1-4 in Game 1 with a home run and two RBI’s.
Alejandro Kirk and Addison Barger were the two big movers in odds.
Kirk entered the series at 40-1 and now sits at +1600 after going 3-3 with three runs, two runs batted in and a home run.
While Barger also entered as a longshot and is now in the chaspack after hitting the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history.
