ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tom Golisano announced the formation of the new “Golisano Children’s Alliance,” and that he will be donating $253 million to children’s hospitals across the country joining the alliance.
On Tuesday, Golisano said six new children’s hospitals will incorporate Golisano into their name, and join the new alliance, which is a collaboration between the various Golisano children’s hospitals.
Here is a list of the new alliance partners and how much they will be getting:
Golisano said the director of the Golisano Foundation Erica Dayton researched each hospital and even went to visit them all.
A representative from each hospital came to Rochester and then did an interview process. Representatives from each hospital were also in Rochester Tuesday while Golisano made the announcement.
